A new number one song by a first-time hit maker. Here is Royals by Lorde. No surprise to see Royals hit number one here. This song has been incredibly popular. Royals was the first song this millennium to hold the top spot on the rock chart for six weeks, and only the third ever to hold number one rock for more than five weeks.

Miley Cyrus shows up new with Wrecking Ball at number three. For part of the week, this was the top song, but somehow Roar snuck back up to beat it in the end.
